David Irving is a co-founder and the former CEO of Synergy, which was renamed Fronde in 2007, and has been a Director since day one. He has been involved in IT since 1973 progressing from technical roles to management and leadership.
David retired from the role of CEO at Synergy in 2006 taking on a small number of professional directorships. He also served on the All of Government Advisory Board for two years.
In 2009 David took up the role of CEO at Life Flight Trust, a charity which operates the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Life Flight “bandaged” Air Ambulance in Wellington, and the Starship Air Ambulance in Auckland.
Samford (Sandy) Maier, JD, BA has extensive experience in corporate governance and finance.
Sandy has served in international commercial and investment banking with Citicorp/Citibank for 15 years in various management positions in the Caribbean, South America and Australasia, and has lived and worked in New Zealand since 1986.
For the past 20 years, Sandy has had his own international management consulting firm, specialising in strategic financial and human resource issues and has served as Chairman or Director of several New Zealand companies.
Based in Wellington New Zealand, Celia Burton is recognised internationally as a management consultant, author and presenter.
Her experience spans more than 20 years in industries as diverse as: housing construction, science, education, banking and finance; health, utilities, forestry, and publishing. International experience includes SE Asia, America, Europe, and the Solomon Islands.
Celia has been a director of several companies including Synergy International. She is one of the founding Directors of Synergy and was also employed there in a managerial and consulting capacity.
She currently runs her own consultancy specialising in project, contract, and conflict related work; where roles include investigation, planning, advocacy, and facilitation.
